This kitchen was perfect in the early 1950's but is now looking a little out of date. White metal cabinets that provide very little storage space; and a white metal sink with lots of scratches, and an antique faucet that never stops dripping. |

the stove and refrigerator are less than 10 years old, but they are a long way away from the sink, and dishwasher; and no countertop next to either of them. This kitchen is not very efficient, and not very appealing to the eye. |

| To start with a clean sheet of paper, we will begin by
removing the pantry (3' x 9') walls to make the kitchen larger.

We will move the gas lines for the stove; waste and vent
lines for the sink. We will install new electrical boxes and new
electrical connections for the new dishwasher and a new garbage

We will install new cement board, and new12" x 12" tile
for the floor. Then we install new custom cabinets.

We selected a new set of oak cabinets designed just for this
kitchen, to utilize all available space in the room. Next, we add
custom,job built, counter tops with oak edging to match the cabinets. !

| To match the counter tops we installed a
thermocast sink in almond color. The single faucet was also in an
almond color.

We installed a tile back splash for the
counter top; new stainless gas stove, microwave/vent, and stainless
dishwasher.

We have placed work spaces next to the
stove and sink. The result is an efficient work space--and
good looking too
|
We used a new stainless refrigerator to complete the
kitchen; All appliances are made by Frigidaire. Only
Frigidaire made a 21 cubic foot refrigerator that would fit in a 30 inch
space.
